Our client, an innovative startup backed by a leading international financial institution, who provides intelligent financing solutions for pharmacies, is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to join our dynamic team.
Mission: As the Head of Accounting, you oversee all accounting activities for the group and play a key role in developing our accounting processes, with the potential to evolve into a senior leadership position.
Required Skills:
- University degree in accounting.
- 5 to 10 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in IFRS and French GAAP.
- Familiarity with SAP software (a plus).
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Fluent in French and highly proficient in English.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead an international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Group Accounting Oversight:
- Manage all accounting activities: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and fixed assets across multiple companies.
- Coordinate accounting for operational companies and holdings with various external accounting firms.
- Ensure regulatory, tax, and VAT filings are completed both locally and internationally.
- BPO Finance:
- Actively participate in modelling accounting and controlling processes in SAP, ensuring compliance with IFRS and French GAAP.
- Point of Sale Management:
- Oversee the accounting for a network of points of sale, including all accounting aspects, monthly and annual closings, and tax declarations.
- Leadership:
- Structure and lead the group accounting team and future country teams in preparation for international expansion.
