Task Responsibilities
- Support and back-up leadership of the Procurement Operations department
- Combine operational daily business tasks and responsibilities with team coordination, people support activities, business continuity oversight while ensuring a hands-on, service-oriented and lead-by-example culture
- Actively participate in day-to-day operations while ensuring effective and balanced workload distribution, priority coordination, process compliance, service excellence and operational stability across all Procurement Operations functions
- Acting as a key interface between management and the operational team, supporting the implementation of departmental objectives, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Support Team Coordination activities (like office coverage planning, maintaining back-up structures, talent review and development…)
- Act as first point of escalation for daily business operations and team management
- Collaborate with Team and internal stakeholders on S2C (Source-to-Contract) and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes
- Actively perform and manage supplier onboarding and lifecycle management activities
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members and stakeholders to ensure performance and development
- Contribute to AI-related automation and process optimization projects
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure effective stakeholder management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Review, enhance, and maintain documentation of all departmental processes and procedures
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and reporting insights to management
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the team
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Logistics or Supply-Chain
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multicultural team environment
- Well-structured and organized with strong attention to detail
- Procurement Experience – minimum 5 years (both processes and systems)
- Proven experience in people management or team leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively in a hands-on operational environment
- Motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Internal customer service-oriented mindset
- Flexibility and ability to adopt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Languages: Fluent in English. French, German and Luxembourgish are considered an advantage
Working Conditions
