Task Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4 skilled engineers.
- Plan, execute, and oversee the integration of new IT systems and services into the existing infrastructure.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand integration needs and ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Design and implement integration solutions for diverse IT systems, ensuring they meet organizational requirements.
- Develop integration strategies, architectures, and data flows.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define integration requirements and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication between software developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals.
- Continuously monitor integrated systems for performance, security, and compliance.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to integration solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Provide level 2/3 support for complex integration-related incidents and problems.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and changes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive integration documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and guidelines.
- Generate and present timely reports to management on integration activities, issues, and performance.
- Ensure integration solutions comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security audits and assessments on integrated systems.
- Identify opportunities for improving integration processes and technologies.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance integration efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers related to integration tools and services.
- Evaluate and recommend new integration tools and technologies.
- Lead and manage integration projects, including timeline and resource management.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Evaluate the performance of integrated systems, including availability, utilization, and latency.
- Implement necessary improvements based on performance analysis.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies and technologies.
- Proficiency in various integration tools and platforms (e.g., middleware, APIs, ETL tools).
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles.
- Experience with project management and coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Technical diploma in IT, a Master degree would be considered an advantage.
- Min. 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English is required
Working Conditions:
- Permanent and full-time contract in a dynamic team.
- Standard office hours are to be expected, with occasional work outside these hours to perform exceptional tasks (planned or unplanned) in accordance with our collective work agreement.
- Position based in the Cargolux HQ in Luxembourg.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
