As a Chapter Lead Architect (m/f), you will lead and manage a team of architects responsible for middleware squads delivering advanced IT services.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment between architecture solutions and the organization’s goals
- Oversee the design and development of middleware solutions to ensure they meet functional, technical, and security requirements
- Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for middleware technologies
- Work closely with middleware squads to ensure that architectural designs are properly implemented and maintained
- Collaborate with other chapter leads, product owners, and squad members to align architecture objectives with overall project goals
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between middleware architects and other technical teams.
- Drive initiatives to optimize middleware architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Identify and implement emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance middleware services and capabilities
- Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for middleware architecture-related queries and decisions
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on architecture strategies, progress, and challenges
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure middleware solutions align with consumer needs and expectations
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Extensive experience (min 7 years) in IT architecture, with a focus on middleware solutions
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop technical teams
- Strong expertise in middleware technologies such as WebLogic, API Gateway, and containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in a public administration or similarly complex environment is desirable
