Business Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Operations Manager to oversee and lead the operational support functions within one of our Business Units (BU). In this critical role, you will manage the supervisors of the support teams (comprising administrative assistants and billing officers) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with our firm’s strategic goals.
You will act as the primary point of contact for the Head of the BU, supporting the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the BU’s strategic objectives. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation of our operational set-up, fostering collaboration and driving operational excellence.
Your responsibilites:
Team Management & Leadership
- Oversee the supervisors of administrative assistants and billing officers, ensuring they are empowered to lead their teams effectively.
- Set clear objectives, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence to meet performance targets.
- Ensure smooth coordination and communication across teams, aligning operations with the firm’s vision and transformation strategy.
- Work closely with the Head of the Business Unit to ensure that teams deliver high-quality support services that meet the firm’s standards.
Transformation Project Leadership
- Actively contribute to and support the ongoing operational transformation project, working in collaboration with senior management to execute change initiatives successfully.
- Drive process optimization to enhance overall team performance and ensure alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Supervision
- Mentor and support supervisors and other key staff members, enabling them to lead their teams effectively.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the support teams.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and ensure alignment with the firm’s operational policies and objectives.
- Continuously gather feedback from internal clients to refine day-to-day operations and achieve business goals.
Reporting and KPIs
- Monitor and manage the Business Unit’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including data processing quality, adherence to the firm’s financial agenda, and compliance with deadlines and quality requirements (e.g., time capture, invoicing, collection).

Your profile :
We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about driving operational success and leading transformational change.
- Experience: 10–15 years of team management experience in complex, dynamic environments, with a proven ability to supervise and guide multi-level teams.
- Leadership: Strong natural leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and foster collaboration across teams.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills to coordinate between departments, disseminate strategies, and align teams with objectives.
- Project Management: Proven track record in managing organizational projects and successfully navigating teams through transitional phases.
- Operational Expertise: Skilled in implementing process improvements, analyzing KPIs, and using data to inform decision-making.
- Multitasking: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Digital Fluency: Proficient with digital tools, project management solutions, and technological platforms to enhance team efficiency.
- Languages: Fluency in French and English is required; knowledge of German is an asset.
