Role overviewÂ
The Business Development Manager is a key revenue‑generating role within Ancorius Group, responsible for accelerating growth in corporate and fund services and expanding the Group’s market presence in Luxembourg. The role focuses on originating, developing, and closing new business opportunities by actively leveraging the Group’s strong brand and network built over more than 30 years.
The successful candidate will act as a commercial front‑runner, driving sales activity, converting leads into long‑term clients, and working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and high client satisfaction. The role reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Origination & Revenue Growth
- Drive the end‑to‑end sales process, from lead generation and qualification through to proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Proactively source and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, funds, intermediaries, and advisors to consistently grow the revenue pipeline.
- Identify market trends and client pain points to position Ancorius Group’s services as tailored, value‑driven solutions.
- Contribute directly to the achievement of commercial targets and overall growth objectives.
2. Strategic Relationship & Account Development
- Develop and manage strong, long‑term relationships with key clients, intermediaries, and referral partners.
- Actively identify and execute cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across corporate, SPV, and fund service lines.
- Serve as a trusted commercial advisor, ensuring clients receive proactive support and scalable solutions as their needs evolve.
3. Lead Conversion & Sales Execution
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for inbound leads generated via the website, digital campaigns, events, and referral partners.
- Qualify, prioritise, and convert inbound enquiries into signed mandates, with a strong focus on speed, quality, and client experience.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity tracking in the CRM, with a continuous focus on improving conversion rates.
4. Marketing, Visibility & Market Presence
- Work closely with the marketing team to maximise ROI from campaigns, advertisements, events, and digital initiatives.
- Actively follow up on leads generated through online advertising, sponsorships, and industry events.
- Represent Ancorius Group at conferences, networking events, and industry forums to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
- Support and leverage corporate memberships (e.g. LPEA, ALFI, LHoFT) to enhance market exposure and business development outcomes.
- Provide structured commercial feedback on campaign performance, lead quality, and market positioning.
Your profile:
- Strong Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to identify opportunities, influence decision‑makers, and close deals.
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills:Â Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, intermediaries, and international clients.
- Industry Expertise:Â Solid understanding of corporate services, including domiciliation, accounting, corporate and SPV services, and fund administration.
- Relevant Experience:Â Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or client acquisition within the fund and corporate services sector.
- Languages: Fluent English is required; French is a strong asset in Luxembourg’s business environment.
- Execution & Organisation: Results‑oriented, well‑organised, and able to manage multiple opportunities in a fast‑paced commercial environment
