Greenfield is pleased to be working closely with a pioneer and leader in infrastructure investing on behalf of institutional investors globally. The rapid growth of the Luxembourg office and the increasing number, pace and complexity of the new transactions going through it led the company to increase the headcounts. In this context, our client is looking for their next Senior Treasury Analyst with excellent communication and organization skills to partner with internal and external stakeholders of various levels of seniority and backgrounds. The person will be required to handle figures and cash; deal with large sums of cash/funds and budgets; have experience of financial control and budgeting.

The role:

• Plan the organization of the periodic settlement of payments (capital calls, invoices, distributions, drawdowns etc.);
• Review the managing and opening bank accounts, including when necessary securities/custody accounts;
• Ensure compliance with the relevant business processes and controls, and review existing procedures with a critical view on them;
• Coordinate the team’s interactions with banks and external parties in Luxembourg/Spain, and internal departments such as accounting and legal;
• Conduct analysis of settlement errors and review the relevant internal;
• Liaise with the tax/legal teams when needed, to help complete FATCA and CRS requirements;
• Manage ad-hoc cash flow reports for internal and external parties.
• Play a key role in driving the set-up and automation of key Treasury Ops processes
• Works closely with banking partners and internal Treasury team, actively seeks to understand their needs, strategies, initiatives, opportunities, and challenges.
• Be responsible for the daily activities of the Luxembourg treasury function.
• Debt administration: interest calculation, financial covenants reports
• Contribute to improve and standardize processes including implementation of best practices and automation.
• Manage closure of any FX settlements
• Own the design and manage the development of reports, metrics, dashboards, etc. to drive key treasury decisions
• Design reporting that tracks Treasury KPIs across various treasury functions including Cash management and Forex

The profile:

• Bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree in finance/business administration/Economics or similar.
• Working experience in the treasury department of a large international company
• Knowledge Treasury systems
• Advance Excel and Financial modelling skills
• Have a financial qualification or relevant experience;
• Fluent in English with the ability to concisely and effectively express complex topics in a written or oral fashion.
