To support the fast growth of Firetec business unit, we are currently looking for a

Technical Sales Engineer- Fire Industry

Your primary mission will be to perform hydraulic calculations, create technical documents (BOM), and provide technical support to the sales team while ensuring that systems comply with local and national fire protection standards.

Your mission:

• Create Bill Of Materials based on RFQs and adapt the systems to suit customer applications
• Make hydraulic calculations with VdS software and design systems to respect local/national guidelines and norms of fire protection
• Provide sales team with technical advices and support for both pre-sales and post-sales
• Identify part numbers and submit solutions
• Actively help in improving design of fire suppression systems
• Support in maintaining system configurators
• Translate some technical-commercial documents in German and prepare presentations for client training
• Give demonstrations, training and presentations to help colleagues and clients discover and understand products & services
• Assist or audit installations occasionally
• Actively participate in developing Sales Actions
• Work in close relationship with R&D, Product Management and Quality teams

Our expectations:

- Must have:

• Graduated Engineer
• Several years’ experience in the Fire Protection Sector
• Design proven track record of designing fire protection systems
• Extended knowledge of the specific local/national norms
• Software CAD Autocad or/and CATIA
• Fluent in English and German
• Proficiency in using VdS software for hydraulic calculations

- Soft skills :

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different internal functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility and capability to adapt to changes and new demands.

- Nice to have :

• Experience in valve and regulator technology would be appreciated.
• Previous experience working with international teams or clients, especially in Germany.
• Skills in improving and managing system configuration tools.
