Fund Accountant - German Speaking

One of my clients, a fast-growing service provider based in the heart of Luxembourg City, is currently looking for a Fund Accountant (German-speaking) to join their team.
The firm works with a wide range of international clients across various sectors and offers a modern, flexible, and supportive working environment.

Job description :

As a Fund Accountant, you will be involved in a wide range of responsabilities, including : 

• Managing day-to-day accounting for client entities
• Preparing monthly and quaterly financial reports
• Preparing annual accounts in compliance with Lux GAAP
• Handling periodic and annual VAT and corporate tax returns
• Ensuring smooth communication with clients and tax authorities
• Working independently on a portfolio of international clients from various industries

Profile sought :

The ideal candidate would be :

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Around 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fiduciary or financial services company
• A structured and autonomous work style, with strong eye for detail
• Solid analytical skills and a genuine focus on quality and accuracy
• Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Fluency in German is required, and a good command of at least one other language (Frencg, English or Luxembourgish)
• Proficiency in BOB accounting software and MS Office tools is considered a strong asset
