Your tasks

• You manage the development, design, user interface, technology integration, and coordinate activities with external software developers
• You define and enforce software quality standards and guidelines
• You act as reference for software development within the IT team
• You handle software engineering from planning to operation in regular exchange with internal and external customers
• You troubleshoot complex issues, propose solutions, identify cross functional dependencies, and demonstrate the ability to drive problems to closure
• You maintain subject matter expert competency to positively impact a range of requests and projects in Utilities domain
• You build unit tests to guarantee developments to make continuous integration possible
• You build web-based and service-based applications using SAP and Non-SAP technologies either on premise or in the cloud
• You create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in IT application design and development
• Professional experience with object-oriented languages and API based software architectures
• Highly analytical mindset, combined with an autonomous and organized work attitude
• Knowledge of latest SAP technologies, Java Enterprise architectures and Containerisation technologies would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP IS-U or strong interest in the Energy sector will be considered as an asset
• Competencies within any other programming language like C#, Python would be considered as an advantage 
• Team oriented player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills, in English, German and/or French is strongly recommended, Luxembourgish is considered as an asset.
