Task Responsibilities:
Perform the Parts Expedition function
- Process and place returned parts into the unserviceable stock.
- Ensure that the parts correspond to the labelling and computer data is correctly updated.
- Ensure that packaging and storage conditions are in accordance with departmental policy.
- Ensure timely, accurate data input.
- Carry out stock transfers as required and perform physical inventory counts.
- Liaise with respective department to solve general issues that may arise.
- Maintain good housekeeping using 5S priciples.
Processing of BER (Beyond Economical Repair) and SCRAP parts.
- Ensure that the parts are stored in the assigned area.
- Requesting the related shop to remove any sub-assemblies (cannibalization).
- Follow up with respective departments concerning the scrap procedure.
Create internal repair orders for customer property and Cargolux property.
- Ensure that part is on our in-house capability list
- Process parts as per customer requests and regulations
Undertake general Material Control duties
- Work closely and maintaining good relationships with connected departments.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in a similar position
- Willing to work on shifts
- Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
- Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
- Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
Working Conditions:
- Permanent role based in Luxembourg
- Flexibility of working hours is required
- Hold a valid B class driving license. A C class license would be considered a distinct advantage
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
