The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) represents the Luxembourg asset management and investment fund community. Created in 1988, the Association today represents over 1,400 Luxembourg-domiciled investment funds, asset management companies and a wide range of businesses that serve the sector.

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for finance? We are looking for a Communications Manager - full-time, permanent contract - to elevate our brand, expand media reach, and shape the conversation in the global investment fund industry.
In this role, you will lead press relations, create engaging content across multiple channels, and drive event communications, all while positioning Luxembourg as a premier fund hub.
Exceptional English written skills are a must. French is a plus, and additional languages are always a welcome asset.

Key responsibilities:
Media and press relations
- Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists and media partners, acting as the go-to contact for press inquiries.
- Organise and coordinate press conferences and media briefings to boost industry visibility.
- Identify and engage with media outlets to expand our reach, assess partnerships, and optimise promotional impact.
- Oversee media coverage for events, track press mentions, and compile insightful reports.
Communication and content development
- Craft compelling stories that highlight our expertise, making complex research and industry insights accessible to a broader audience.
- Manage and update content across our website and exclusive members’ platform, ensuring consistency and engagement.
- Support the development and distribution of key publications.
Event Communications
- Drive visibility for our conferences, webinars, and roadshows.
Qualifications and skills:
- Education: University degree in communications, journalism or digital marketing.
- Strong experience in B2B communication (+5 years), including media relations and public engagement.
- Exceptional writing and content creation skills, with the ability to transform technical topics into clear, engaging narratives.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, including website analytics, content management, social media, and media monitoring tools.
- Experience with design tools (InDesign, Canva, Visme) is a plus.
What we are looking for:
- Finance knowledge and real interest in the investment fund sector.
- Fluent in English, with French and/or German considered an asset. Excellent written English is key to succeeding in this role.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- A self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive, curious, able to work autonomously.
- Team player.
