ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (M/F)
Experis is currently looking for an Oracle DBA (m/f) to strengthen/supervise a team inside a huge environment, on behalf of a client based in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Oracle databases.
- Take over building and documenting migration paths for new technologies.
- Write and maintain custom scripts or identify tasks to be automated to lower the human intervention time.
- Participate in meetings and training related to the environment.
- Report to TL and/or management team.
- Collaborate with application teams to plan and execute the migrations, but also liaise with other technical teams for problem resolution.
- Work closely with customers.
- Participate in shift and on-call rotation.
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Science and a significant experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Experience in migrating databases across platforms and versions, using multiple techniques.
- Production support & global technical expertise of following technologies:
- Oracle GI 11.2, 12.1,12.2
- Oracle RDBMS 9,10,11,12
- Oracle ASM
- RedHat Linux 6,7
- Solaris 10
- Considered as a plus:
- Knowledge of OEM, OID and CMAN, MySQL
- Experience with monitoring system
- Experience with shell scripting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with other teams.
- Fluent in English; French is considered as a plus.
