Senior Tax Officer – 30 Days Off, Homeworking

A dynamic and modern fiduciary based in Luxembourg-City (near Hamilius) is seeking a Senior Tax Officer. The directors of this company have put in place a healthy working environment and a team composed of 15 employees, such as accountants of different levels of experience, and corporate and compliance officers.

This structure would like to recruit a specialist in direct and indirect tax, to offer him the possibility to become accountant. As a result, the accountants working in the company would be able to focus on accounting tasks and to benefit from the qualifications and advice of a Tax Officer.

The office is established in open-spaces, and ideally located close to the tram-station Hamilius. Furthermore, the employees who are working in this structure have the chance to work for international and reputable clients, such as SPF, SOPARFIs, Holdings, and Investments in Private Equity and Real Estate.

Your Responsibilities | Fiduciary – Accountancy – Accounting

• You are responsible for the preparation of tax returns autonomously. It is an advantage for this fiduciary if you can prepare VAT and tax returns, as you will have to prepare them in this company.
• You take care of the accounting entries. After following trainings and coaching from your manager, you will have to prepare annual accounts and several reportings.
• You are in contact with your clients, auditors, and banks.
• You follow trainings to improve your level in accounting, tax, and your soft skills.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Finance – Accountant – Tax

• You have more than 5 years of experience in tax compliance within a fiduciary, a PFS, or a Big Four in Luxembourg.
• You speak English, and French as well.
• You hold a degree in accounting (or similar), a bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree. If you are a Chartered Accountant, that would represent an advantage.
• You are motivated to work in accounting : you can have a profile specialized in tax and be motivated to move to a company to deal with more diversified tasks.
• You already have experience with SOPARFIs, and SPF companies.

• Depending on your technical skills and previous experiences, your salary will be up to €80.000 gross per year. Furthermore, you will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus if you show your efforts and if you invest time and efforts at work.
